I apologize in advance for any one who does Tai Chi; please do not take offense to my laughter at its expense. Clearly, I am immature ;)
Today, three generations of women (Grandma Cammy, mom, and myself) spent mid-morning delving into the practice of Tai Chi. A gift from one of my mom's friends (who might I add, did worn us that this particular DVD was rather... ehm... unique), Tai Chi at Sunset was more of a gift of laughter than relaxation.
Let's just say, Tai Chi is hard to take seriously. The man on the DVD instructs us to bust a move called, "Shoulder Shrug Shaking Zen." All the while you are supposed to have your eyes closed. Well, I peaked and found myself laughing hysterically because both mom and Grandma looked like they had been electrocuted... that or had been struck with a terrible case of hypothermia in mid-May.
I hope that none of the neighbors were peeping in our windows, should they have caught a glimpse of our ridiculous effort to attempt Tai Chi; they may have laughed themselves into cardiac arrest!
